Software Applications & File Types

We work with files created in the following applications:
InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Quark Express
In files formats such as EPS, TIFF, PDF, JPG.
Fonts should be converted to outlines / curves where possible.
Files created in other programs such as Word, Power Point and Publisher will be accepted but will incur an additional charge for converting and or re-setting to a graphic format acceptable to us.

Bleed

Please add 3mm bleed your designs. All critical elements and text should be at least 2.5mm inside the finish size of the magnet.

Images and Resolution

All images are to be saved as CMYK values as TIFF, EPS or JPEG. Do not save as RGB. The resolution of each image should be 300dpi at their final size. If you design a job with images at 72 dpi, those images will print at a poor quality.

Size

Your print files should be designed in the size that is being ordered.

Colour Matching

Due to variables involved in the printing processes, inaccuracies caused by inconsistent viewing conditions, colour perception and many other variables, matching PMS colours, supplied samples or full colour proofs is not guaranteed and a reasonable variation between these and the completed job is to be expected. When a variation of this kind occurs, it will be considered acceptable performance.

Proofing

We DO NOT proof read your document, however we will submit a Proof of your design for review and approval. We will print the job only once the proof is approved by you.
